JC: Lets set the scene...where are you right now?
Jonas: in my room in Las Palmas, Gran Canaria.
JC: Don´t the relentless he wind in Pozo ever drive you crazy?
Jonas: No never... I´m used to sailing and staying in Pozo, for me it´s normal. For the people who are not used to staying in such a windy place... they are the ones it can drive crazy.
JC: How did you get into windsurfing?
Jonas: My father taught me ten years ago. I used to sail in Las Canteras Beach; my first board was a Tiga 250 VR. In the beginning I was not sailing that much in Pozo... only about once a month.JC: What´s it like learning in Pozo´s nuclear winds?
Jonas: Initially it was hard for sure, but sailing with Bjorn, Vidar, Juan Enrique and Daida... your learn very fast! Sailing in strong wind was never a problem... I guess none of us ever knew any different!
JC: Did Bjorn an Vidar inspire you to learn quickly?
Jonas: Yeah for sure, because they´re the riders in Pozo... they are the “references” to judge how good you are.
